Harold Parker State Forest, MA - 2009

I took this on a recent kayaking trip in Harold Parker State Forest in North Andover/Andover, MA. I liked how the rocks changed color from grey to brown where the water normally is. I suspect that the brown color is left over from a long time ago - northeastern Massachusetts had a wet spring/summer this year, and I'd be surprised if this lake was that much lower than it usually is. You can also see a black snake curled up on the shortest rock, sunning himself. There were lots of snakes out and about.
I took this picture with my Kodak Z730 digital camera, and have made no changes to the original file.
